Modal goes multi-sport: football + MLB, one desk

The sport switcher is live: football and MLB side by side, free during the beta — with per-sport plans and an all-sports Edge tier arriving when the beta ends.

Modal started as a football graphic. Today it becomes a desk: the sport switcher in the nav now carries MLB alongside football, and the same standards travel with it — a real model, honest numbers, and analysis rather than tips.

What's live today

The MLB board: every game on today's slate priced by the pitcher-aware model — model, market and blended win probabilities, both probable starters with their FIP, sorted by where the model disagrees with the market. Members get the written read behind each game, from the same engine betting this slate with real money on the Momus side of the house.

What pricing will look like

Everything is free during the beta, MLB included. When the beta ends, plans go per sport: pick football, pick MLB, or take both at a bundle discount. Edge — the top tier — becomes all-sports: every vertical we run, including the ones we haven't launched yet, with founder pricing that locks in before each new sport arrives. Early members keep their price forever; the ones we add sports for pay the newer one. It's the honest version of loyalty pricing: being early should compound.

Why baseball first

Because it complements football perfectly: a daily slate against weekend-heavy football means there's something new on the desk every single day — and October's playoffs are the biggest prediction stage in American sports. NBA is next in line, with its model already validated and waiting for the season. One desk, more sports, same discipline.
